I’m a PhD student in GIScience at San Diego State University. My research focuses include (geo)visual analytic, cartography, spatial reasoning, and data-mining. Before I moved to San Diego in 2013, I lived in Happy Valley – the geographic and happiness center of Pennsylvania where you often come across Amish Buggy on the road. I earned both my Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Geography with a concentration on GIScience from The Pennsylvania State University, where I also successfully survived from four severe winters.
